Well, multiculturalism is of course a utopian thing that I wish we, as a society, could acheive, where we all are accepting and tolerant of one another's beliefs. However, there seems to be as much, if not more, intolerance (especially religious intolerance) now than there was 50 years ago. In the US, I feel that many blacks are now more hostile towards whites than whites were towards them 50 years ago, I think many Americans are hostile to non-Christians, and I think that in America, many people try to find a group that is OK to be in so they can look down on the rest.

Lumping individuals into groups is never productive (notice I used the word "many" to stay away from prejudices) and tends to make us judge individuals before we even get to know them.

In any community of people there will be prejudice, intolerance etc. Between white and black and yellow and red and brown.....any of these ethnic groups have a one or another misconception about each other or something they do not like. The key to multiculturism is tolerance and understanding and acceptance.. Canada is one example where people of all walks of life can life in realtive peace. We have our problems, but it is not unsurmountable.

Was that your question?????

Multicultralism is a myth which breeds prejudices, because differing cultures are not compatible and those who preach multiculturalism just display their naiiveity and ignorance of differing religions and cultures.

Babies are born innocent. These are learned behaviors - generations passing down the ignorance. And many races are guilty of racism, intolerance, discrimination, etc.
