next time it happens, which if it's heartburn it will be the next time you lie down, take some antacid of any kind! get some tums to keep by your bedside, and try not to eat before bed, too! Good luck!!!

Yes gas/indigestion can give you chest pains. Try an over the counter remedy of tums or they have some pills that fight indigestion. If you have frequent heartburn/indigestion tho you should consult a doctor regarding this because it could be a symptom of something that needs to be treated.

It could be heartburn, gas, stress, or your heart. If the pain is bad dont guess about it. Call for an ambulance. In my area - if they come out to your house and check you and you do not go to the hospital by ambulance they dont charge you or your insurance. They can reassure you if you are worried. Dont play games with chest pains. It is better to be safe then for it to be more serious and you ignor it. Also - consider if you can the situation before you had pain... did you eat spice or greasy stuff? Are you stressing about things? But if you dont go to the hospital and you keep having problems you need to see your doctor. But I really don't suggest waiting till it happens repeatedly.

I could be what they call gastrointestinal reflux disease; GIRD. The stomach acid coming up out of your stomach into your esophogus. It is very painful. An OTC (over the counter) antacid may help. If that doesnt consult your doctor. At any time that the pain becomes worse, you have confusing, dizziness, profuse sweating, pain that radiates down one or both arms get to the ER even if you have to call 911 if there is no help readily available. This might mean a heart attack. I don't think so and also if this continues please talk to a doctor. Your doctor can help you.

While it might be heartburn or gas, since you are pregnant I would strongy reccomend that you see your doctor, just to rule out anything more serious. (Heart problems can feel like sever heartburn).

well u have to look back ... have u ever had this before once twice ... is it a pain coming from your stomach to your chest or just your chest alone? is there pain in your arm ? head? back of the nape of your head? does your family have a history of heart problems? or did you eat too spicy or too greasy food like pizza or burgers? if you really want to be sure make an appointment with your primary doctor. he/she will determine it you are having acid reflux or heart problems? GOD bless.

yes it probably was some indigestion, hearturn or gas, not fun at all and it can be scary and painful. Try taking tums even though they only work for like a second. Good luck!

Sounds like a really bad case of gas. It is scary. Feels like you may be having a heart attack. I try drinking warm water and also taking some Maalox.
