I haven't gotten my period for a month and a half now. I stopped taking birth control pills about 2 months ago. I don't have any signs of being pregnant. Is my period just late because my body is regulating itself after I stopped the pill, or is it possible I'm pregnant even though I don't have sore breasts, morning sickness or any other pregnancy symptoms?

Depends on when you last had sex. If you had unprotected sex after you stopped taking the pills, you could possibly be pregnant. If not, it's most likely (but not 100%) that your body is now regulating itself again.

I am not trying to sound sarcastic, but If you really want to know if you are pregnant, go to the store and buy a pregnancy test. This will eliminate any doubts of pregnancy If you want to know if you can get pregnant after you stop taking birth control, the answer is a definite YES. Many women do not have "pregnancy symptoms" when they are pregnant and you are many times more likely to get pregnant when you have sexual intercourse after you get off the birth control pill. Also, it depends on why you were on the pill to begin with. Was it just for birth control or to regulate your periods? You might not be pregnant if it was for period regulation. Good luck!

It can take some womans bodies 6 to 12 months to get back to normal after having taken the pill. Some women never get their periods back properly. If pregnancy tests have been negative then your body is probably still getting itself sorted out.

It could be either actually. Birth control has hormones and does effect your period most of the time when stopping or starting them. Not all women get morning sickness and from what I remember its a bit too soon for sore breasts. So to ease your mind make a doctors appointment and find out for sure. Good luck.

Why did you stop the pill in the first place? I hope you're still using another method of protection if you're still having sex! Sounds to me that your body is off-kilter right now because of going off the pill. See, it was on a regular schedual. The schedual was interrupted, so now your body is messed up a little. I went thru the same thing in my younger days, nothing to worry about. Your period will come.

Well all those symtoms take a while to tune in with being pregnant.. but it culd be that your body is just getting used to being off the pill.

It's probably just doing a weird thing. It's normal. The human body is unpredictable.
