Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming - WOW, what a ride!!!!!

My favourite is "Live and Let Live". There's a world of meaning in those four words.
The first Live, I believe is telling me to really enjoy life - to take part in it & 'smell the roses'.
The Let Live part is so freeing. It tells me to let go of those around me - even my children (if they are old enough that is.) and give them respect and the space to work out their own destiny.

I don't know if you believe in God, but the quote I live by is, "God does not call the qualified, he qualifies the called." I love this quote!

My favorite is from a Counting Crows song.. "I can't remember all the times I tried to tell myself to hold on to these moments as they pass". Basically, you have to appreciate everything in life, and you can't take anything for granted, because life slips through your hands faster than you can ever imagine.
