McAffee should automatically remove any and all viruses not necessary for you to do it manually-run a McAffee Virus Scan-if youi use a virus program and it does not automatically get rid and therefore protect your computer dump it-try ZoneAlarm-its free and does a A+Job of removing Virus,Spyware -all your computer does not need-will scan all E-mail, if you click on a attachment it will scan it for Virus and then noptify you that it found no virus before it allows it to be opened. It scans your computer in the background all the time/runs scans for virus and spyware each time computer is turned on and so on. Go to Zone-Alarm Download-whats also great is it also has a Zone program that you can use to remove if you no longer want it-which I doubt you'll want

Turn off your McAfee, because you can only use one antivirus program or you will have conflict with your system. Download from http://www.avast.com Their free home for personal use. The corporate version is the same they just make corporate pay.
They will ask you for your email address so that they can send you a free key that is good for one year after the one year you must request a new key.
The background scanner is excellent, really stops in real time any virus that tries to enter your system and destroys. Scans all 195,000 objects in my pc. Never had one virus in nine years.
Plus you get automatic updates, with excellent instruction if a virus is found. Give you advise if you should delete or place in their vault.
After the program cleans our virus, always reboot your system, same for spyware.

Go to McAffee's website, they might have a way you can manually delete the virus, or a special piece of software you can download. Best of luck.

I assume you are using windows? Go into safe mode...hold down F8 as windows starts to boot. Once in safe mode run a full virus scan with McAffee and it should be able to delete it.

I used to be a big symantec fan until I encountered a couple viruses.....they wanted me to pay big money to get rid of the viruses their software was to protect.....so I switched to Mcafee and still had unresolved internet errors.......I finally took the advice of my wi-fi internet service and subscribed to a service called F-Secure......it finds and gets rid of viruses, spyware, malware, etc. and is an excellent program......you can check it out at www.fsecure.com and get a free scan........I got my money back from mcafee and for a little less money got all my issues regarding viruses and spyware/malware fixed.....hopefully this will help you.
