First Response detects the lowest amount of pregnancy hormone that is in your urine. It is so accurate you can take it 4 days before your missed period. So if you are late I would suggest buying the first response and see if it shows up that you are pregnant? One day late is longer then anyone wants to wait anyways lol.

Well, this is my second pregnancy, and I took a test 3 weeks after conception. A week or fewer days before my first missed period. I wan't even late, I just had a feeling. And I even took a cheap pregnancy test too and it showed up positive. But I would say 3 to 5 weeks, after you think you might of gotten pregnant.

You can take it the very first day of your missed period. And some pregnancy tests you can actually take a few days before your period is due, but that is less accurate.

some pregnancy tests can be taken before you even miss your period. However, in most cases, you can take the test as soon as you miss your period.

the very first day you miss a period you can take a test and there are some that you can take even before your missed period, 5 days before to be exact. On the test there is percentages of accuracy from 5 days before to the actual missed period obviously it's most accurat when you are already late.

Most home pregnancy test say you can take them after you miss your first period. However you have not have enough "baby" hormone in your urine the day after. I would wait a couple of days before taking one.

if you really want to find out it you are pregnant ... a blood test for what is called hcg serum (its a qualitative testing) that can be done even if you just missed a day or a hcg urine (only urine) to be given and its usually less sensitive than blood so at least 5 days missed period. But ... to get this test you have to get a doctors order and if you are sure u are pregnant and want to find out how far you are already a test called hcg quantitative is the best which needs blood too. good luck

two weeks after you missed it if the 1st time is negative wait another week and do it over the cheap testers are as good as the expesive 1s ,so dont get cheated at local stores it just a simple urin test ok!! good luck
