I've driven my used 95 Mazda Protege LX 5-speed and found it to be my best used car ever.
But my best memories are of my first car - a 1967 Mercury Montego and the roadtrips I made in it!

that would have to be my 1995 green Ford Escort. What a cool little car. My oldest son inherited it when we got a crappy van, and he pretty much drove it into the ground. We did that with the van too. We traded both of them off on different vehicles and I'm pretty sure the van ended up in the big junkyard in the sky, but I heard someone from a nearby town bought the Escort and fixed it up. I think I might have even seen it the other day.

I used to have a Volkswagen Beetle, one of the original ones, with an "automatic shift". Weird. You shifted, but no clutch. I loved it, but I had it less than a year when it got stolen. :( Only car I've ever owned that got stolen. Guess somebody else, liked it, too.

I had an old chevy malibu with a "three on the tree" shifter. Never seen one of those before or since. It finally broke down and died, but it had a monster engine.
