contemplated suicide, have you tried and lived to tell the tale, do you think people who do it think of themselves instead of the potential heartache they could cause by doing so.

I did , I took an overdose of 200 pills including blood presser pills , anti depressants , sleeping pills ect . When I was found I had no vital signs at all . They got me breathing & I spent 5 days in a coma . No, I never thought about anyone else I was in tremendous pain and wanted it to stop the only way I knew how { nothing else worked }
I know that God had a different plan and that is why I'm still here . I spend alot of time working with people with problems like mine .

Well I think people who attempt suicide doesn't really realize anything that might happen after. They might realize anythng but it's mostly about the end of their problems and everything that goes with it. Their emotions were really strong and were really carried away by the moment and it's hard to fight back. Sometimes, they feel that the're alone and nobody cares for them anymore and would like to make those people suffer by taking away their own lives. It's really complicated but it's also something like that. They're not in a right state to think of the future because what they really think of is the moment and their current situation. I know quite a few people who were suicidal prone and who had attempted it. It was really scary, disappointing, and really sad because they don't clearly realize how many people will be heartbroken if they did it or even just by attempting it...

I have tried to commit suicide more than once. The first time I was 11 years old and I had to stay in the hospital for 3 days. I know that I was just thinking of myself at the time. Which made it really hard to deal with my counselor telling me that I was selfish and trying to take "the easy way out". It was harsh but I know it's what I needed.

Yes, tried it a few times. Remember children - suicide by Alka Seltzer and soluble aspirin does not work! You end up with a fizzy mess!!
Also, never try and OD on your stepmother's diuretics, you will be pissing all night and not dying.

yes, i tried suicide and no i was not thinking of family or repercussions there are times the ache in your own heart are more than you can bear
