Right click on a free spot on your desktop. A little block will pop up, choose the last entry "Properties." Another block will appear called "Display Properties," Click on the "Appearance" tab. The last block says "Font Size," it has a drop down list, pick the size, it will give you a preview of what the larger font size will look like. Click Apply, then Ok, when your done.

Change the Resolution of your screen.
Do this by right-clicking your desktop then select properties.
click on the settings tab and change the screen resolution.

Go to Control Panel then Appearence & Themes then Display

right click on desktop>properties>appearance>advanced> under item,click the dropdown window and click on icons....you can adjust it from there. you can also adjust the size of the font at the same time....
