I mean, What is appropriate for girls 8 to 12? Alot of the websites and books that were offered to me have young girls exploring themselves with mirrors, and I'm not all that comfortable in that.

I remember this book from when I was young, it was the best! I learned a lot from this book, and it's very truthful while not being too difficult to understand for younger kids.

do you mean puberty as in when they start to menstruate or do you mean when they start having hormonal urges?
