I think you would feel panic at first..............knowing that your are dying and can't change it. Then acceptance.

I would guess it would depend on the way you die. If you die peacefully, such as in your sleep, I imagine it to be no different then if you were to fall asleep. Other ways of death as violence I think would be a lot of pain, then peace as you grasp that you will not make it out alive and accept the fact that you will die. Out of all possible ways I think drowning would be the worse as your lungs get filled with icey water.
I hope you yourself are not dying as you ask this question.

When you die you lose focus. Without focus their is no pain or suffering. In most cases that usually means someone must rely on a god to refocus themselves. Some don't need a god to refocus. Some are aware of the fluidity of a liquid called time. Do you know the properties of a liquid time? How many of those properties are on a metaphysical plain? How many on a physical plain? How on the spiritual plain? Death is not a mystery to me.

Wow that is a great question, but how can we really answer it until we experience it? Here's what I hope: that even if the road towards dying is excruciatingly painful, that the joy that follows the pain is so wonderful, the pain would never be remembered.

I guess that depends on what you are dying from... if you got run over by a bus, I think it would be rather painful... if you die on the operating table completely unconscious, then I think you really wouldn't know what happened.

I'm afraid that's something we will never know until we experience it....then it will be too late to share the feeling with our friends.
Personally....I hope it's a peaceful calming feeling.

ur body probably shuts down slowly and most likely u dont feel a thing...like when ur asleep...it will be quick...and painless...HOPEFULLY!
ppl want to die in their sleep and we really dont know what it is like...all those ppl that have died in their sleep could probably have woken up gasping for air or something and in the morning the family just sees them dead and thinks it was all peacefull, when it really wasnt...since everyone in the house was asleep also...

I was told once if you want to know what dying feels like, think back to what it felt like before you were born.

It should be a joyful experience crossing over and seeing your loved ones who have passed.
