Just bugs, like HIV. I do not believe that we should ever negotiate with viruses. They should suffer. And, I committed a terrible genocide this year of all the spiders in my yard. I've never been like that before. But, they actually aggressed against me. I still don't know what to think about my behavior that day. I actually deliberately murdered them with chemicals.

In my first moments of feeling hurt and anger, I certainly would be feeling like the person who caused me pain should suffer. However, once my passionate self regained its center, the desire to see someone suffer would dissipate. Then the answer would be no. Since I could never hurt myself, or wish suffering upon me; I could not knowingly wish suffering upon someone else. I think the first feeling to hurt is an emotional response and the second feeling would be my rationale response. I think my answer is honest. I think most people want to strike back when first hurt, therefore in that moment WOULD wish hurt on someone. Fortunately, we quickly move out of that feeling into a rational response. Wishing something is a lot different than acting on something. Since we can not control how we feel about something, I think if people were really honest, they would agree that there are moments when they feel someone else should suffer. How does a mother feel when her child is violated? How does a spouse or lover feel when they are betrayed? How does one feel to lose a loved one to a drunk driver?

nope,..
I have strong feelings about karma
Yes, it's hard to wish well to those you fear or percieve as enemies. To wish them well and hope they succeed with out hardship, penalty or punishment can be very hard indeed.
Especially if they have committed terrible crimes or hurt innocent people.
But if you can, I think it's well worth the effort.
You will feel happier, enjoy ur life more and grow wiser.
At the very least, you get practiced at seeing more of the bigger picture..
A good tip is to remember we are not all born with the same abilities, experiences and challenges.
love ur enemies?
It's a challenge but,
It's worth the mental/emotional effort.

NO! There is too much suffering already going on in this world and by innocent people. I wouldn't wish even death on anyone even my enemies. There will be a day when everybody will be judged according to their actions and that is when the murderers, rapists, corrupt politicians, racists, and thieves will get their punishment. And that judge will be Jesus Christ.
