Go to DSLreports.com and do some of the speed-tests that are there. This will tell you if its the net or your computer.

If computer (most likely) install winpatrol and get rid of all the junk starting up that you dont want or need. By the way, if you have Norton anti-virus, uninstall it too. Use Avast instead. its free.

How long ago has it been since you cleaned your tempoary internet files also called the cache? Have you surfed the web a lot lately? Each web page is a collection of files varying in size. Every so often, it is an idea to clean up the cache, and here is how to do it (for the Windows Operating System):

1. Click the Microsoft icon with the word start on it.
2. Click Control Pannel.
3. Click Internet and Network Connections.
4. Click Internet Options.
5. Click Delete Files.
6. Click Delete History.
7. Restart the computer.
8. Sign back onto the internet, and it should be fine.

You may have a firewall or something up for protection against hackers that's interfering with the connection. That's what happened with ours. Either that or the server that you're connected to may be overloaded.
