Why on Dateline Specials where they bust men seeking minors don't you ever see women seeking minors. You don't hear of it on the news either except for the occasional relationship in schools. Does it not happen, or is it not as interesting as men?

Because it's usually the other way around. The younger guys pursue the older women! I know that anytime that I chat, there's always an 'underage guy' trying to get me to chat naughty with him. It may be a set-up for Dateline, or it may really be a 16-year-old boy that just wants a woman to tell him something naughty. Either way, I don't chat with anyone underage like that. And yet, I get plenty of 18 and older guys that want to meet me.
Now, young girls, on the other hand, need to be convinced that they need a older guy in their life to "teach" them. And somehow, these pervs on Dateline really seem to think that a real, young girl is waiting to meet them. Men are so easily tricked since they truly want to believe that there's a naughty thirteen year old girl out there. The media certainly portrays teenagers as horny-lust dogs that sleep with one another in locker rooms and school parking lots. We've all seen those images of cute little virgins posing provocatively on major magazines; yet we weren't supposed to see them as sexual creatures since they are underage. Like I said, these guys really hope they will find that bad girl that wants to play. Did you ever see that movie titled" Thirteen with Rachel Evan Wood? They believe that girls like that exist; and they probably do. These men are willing to take that risk for some young stuff!

I'm not saying that it doesn't happen (Because it does).. but men are much more likely to be a pedophile than women. The DateLine specials run on perverts on the internet. Think about it - When you're online... who's more likely to be the outspoken pervert? Men, that's who.

Women molesting minors, although it does happen, is pretty rare. The female psyche is not visually stimulated like a male's is. Men are also trained to think differently than women are as well.

Because in our patriarchal society men don't much care if their son manages to get some from an older woman.
Me I find it creepy when I hear about adults going after kids still in elementary or junior high. Hell I frankly think that adults should keep their hands off any kid under 18

It's in the nature of our being, women prefer older me, and men prefer younger women. So it's more rare of course.
