im working on 3 at the moment, 1 is a rewrite of halloween and 1 is a sequel to american werewolf in london. both set in scotland. im using them as a kind of stepping stone to get myself into the mindset of writing scripts. the real one is a kind of cabin fever meets hills have eyes and texas chainsaw. again this is set in scotland.
i love horror movies but feel there hasnt been a scary one for many years (except the 2 new texas chainsaw movies which i thought were excellent, oh and hostel that was pretty creepy too)
so iv decided to start writing my own.

How about a Film noir thriller with a female private detective, set in a gothic Sin City-esque environment. Start with a robbery, throw in a murder or two, a couple of obvious suspects, an unexpressed yet obvious love interest, finally end with a twist that HAS to make sense but won't be expected.
