My best friend of 4 years is completely different now that he has one... I'm happy and all for him, but he pretty much took the humor (and other things) away from our relationship with the last thing he said to me... Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know. "If the relationship was strong, you two be able to withstand it."
Oh, just let me drown in my misery!
And good night, folks...
:-)

Whenever anyone gets into a relationship they tend to have tunnel vision for awhile, they tend to devote much of their time to the other persons wants over even their own. So themselves and other friends basically get left out of the picture for awhile. Your friendship will probably come back but unfortunately not until your friend realizes that he needs more than one person to make his life complete. Sorry it is a hard time to loose a good friend, and if he has become a WORSE person than before, then maybe just drop a call and say hey dude, I am happy for you and all, but you are totally different, call me when you get a chance to hang out I miss that in a DUDE way =) Good Luck............

Tea4one said it simple and to the point... It will be OK ... You are a sweet person... It illuminates here... So why would he want to lose that? Friends true friends stick around even if they have to go their separate ways temporarily and once you have a boyfriend, he may be through with her.. And experience the same thing you are now...
That is when you may even realize how strong it is.... Best wishes to you.... Chin UP!

It is inevitable, but often temporary. They need time at first, so that they can build their relationship. True friends stick together in the long run, however. Best of luck, and good night.
