it seems like after i chased after a really popular (hot) girl at my HS, she never seems to appreciate all the effort i put in. she always have like 7 or 8 guys after her. she does not care if she lose just one....
am i right or did i miss something?

yeah i've tried. and for me, it wasn't worth it. there was this really hot guy. and we were pretty good friends, but he was popular, and i wasn't an outcast, but i definetly wasn't popular. so although he talked to me, he would never even consider going out with me. i tried for 4 years but there were always at least 5 other girls going after him and since they were more popular, they got him. i gave up, because he turned into a jerk.
but that's just what happened to me. if this girl is actually nice and you think she likes you then why not give it a shot? what have you got to lose? but if you're still getting nothing from her then i'd personally move on

yes and no. so i would suggest putting a little bit less effort and hardwork for a girl less popular and watch those panties drop.
