I've met Meryl Streep, and talked to her several times on the phone, (through the business I work for), and she is the nicest, most down-to-earth person. You would never think she's a celebrity. I'm sure she loves her fans, she's not stuck-up.

I think Meryl Streep is a fantastic actress. Whether or not she loves her fans I have no way of knowing but I should think she would be grateful because without them, would she have enjoyed the popularity she's had for so long? Or the lifestyle afforded by the people who've paid to see her films?
