I notice after i stop the car for a while i will notice quite a bit of water that is dripping from the muffler.....i have smelled this water and it doesn't smell like pure gasoline...but does seem to have a slight gas smell to it......is this normal?

water from exhaust pipe is normal. intake air has water vapor in it gas has some water in it.

Yes this in a normal thing, a principal by-product of the internal combustion engine is water.

The only source of abnormal "water" in the exhaust would be engine coolant entering the combustion chambers because of an intake manifold or head gasket leak. If there's no evidence of coolant loss or consumption, you're probably experiencing a "normal" event.

Its normal, just ease up, on the gas pedal when coming to a stop or when you will be turn ing off the car.

It's probably condensation. The smell is caused by the exhaust.

this is normal, condensation plays a part and the catalytic converter, which also creates a bit of water when working properly.

yea thats normal.mine does that too.it means your cat. is working like it should.its turning harmful gases into water.

It's condensation, nothing to worry about.
