I feel that it is time for them to end. If you watch the first 6 or 7 seasons and compare them to the ones they show now you will see that the writers have lost sight of what the simpsons originally were. I myself like the older ones when they weren't trying to cover current issues with society and they were just a normal lower class family doing the average (kind of) day to day thing. Marge was the realistic down to earth mom who was the glue that held the family together , Lisa was an above average child , not a 20 year old college educated person in a little girls body. Bart is still Bart , Homer has evolved into a smarter , educated idiot instead of a simple man who just can't get "it" right.

Yeah Maggie's voice was done by Elizabeth Taylor.
Frankly, I think the Simpson's should have ended quite some time ago. They became boring.

It will show Bart and Lisa grown up. Homer and Marge will be old. All of the past characters will be there. It will be the end to a wonderful show!
