This question is going to be a little complicated for me to state, regardless, here I go:
I have been telling people for years, that I am bisexual, truth be known, I'm really gay. I don't know why I just can't come out and say that I'm gay to family and friends, they all know that all I've slept with for years is men.
I guess my question is this, what do you think is the best way for me to tell my friends and family that I'm gay?
Keep in mind that my family is heavily Catholic.

Well as they know you have slept with guys already it is perhaps not going to come over as too much of a shock.
With friends, unless they are a little bit "easily led", they are more than likely going to laugh at you and say seomthing like "err, tell us seomthing we didn't know".
As for family, about the only reaction I would expect would be a little sadness perhaps as the realisation that they are probably NOT going to given grandchildren from you after all.
As for the Catholic side of things, I am not sure where it would make that much difference "being bi and sleeping with a guy" or "being gay and sleeping with a guy".
Might just be me, but as you say family and friends already know you only sleep with guys, I think they might well be one step ahead of you here :)
Warm Regards
Mark

When you decide to be gay, familiarize yourself with a crowd and then regret your lifestyle choice, there is a completely different closet from which you must come out. And, once you do, those people will have a fury that far outweighs that of the bible-believing Christian parents of a random "gay" teenage boy.

If they don't listen to you when you say you are bi then I wonder if they would continue to ignore you if you say you are gay. If they know you've slept with guys then they probably already know and wouldn't be very surprised if you told them. I really couldn't predict their reactions but if they have loved you up till now knowing all this then I would think you'd be okay. Good luck!

Well, first of all, you're right: they all know. I guess if you feel like you have to tell them anything, just, whenever, and if ever it comes up, just say so. If anyone is dork enough to say, 'hey, you SAID you were bi' say you changed your mind! Regarding your family, you may just want to let sleeping dogs lie...if they don't have to hear it in words, they may not be upset by it, or feel they have to 'do anything' about it. Good luck!

just tell them one girl broke your heart and hurt you a lot and since then you started hating girls... so, you started dating guys cuz you had no more options... LoL... i'm just kidding... I think you should tell them up front... being gay is not a decease or make you any less of a person, so they shouldn't love you any less... just tell them... on a family gathering, so everyone will be there and you don't have to say it hundreds of times... good luck...

They already accept your bisexuality? Then keep telling them that, there's not much difference to fundies anyway.
