Well i live in Leeds, England. There are lots of green fields, and in a morning on my way to work i pass fields, one that has many rabbits, one that has deers, another has a heard of cows and one has horses. It rains all the time and makes the world around me seem very dull, i live right next to a trains station so it's handy for getting into the city but very loud when trains rocket by.

Lots of sheep and green fields, that's my home town.

NEw yorkers come down here in winter time all the time... they call us stupid...
Go visit other cities...don't come to Florida you'll be depressed even when it's sunny

I live in Milton Keynes (usually refered to by its initials: MK), England. It is a new town - built to rehouse Londoners after WW2. Building started in the late 1960's and continues today. It takes its name from a village in the area.

It is approximately half way between Birmingham and London. The M1 motorway passes the town's Eastern flank. The West Coast Main [railway] line goes through the town - there are 3 stations on this line (Bletchley, Central Milton Keynes, and Wolverton.) There is also a branch line that goes to Bedford called the Marston Vale Line but services are less frequent. The Grand Union Canal and the old trading route/ Roman road, Watling Street also go through the town.

Just in case readers from across the pond are reading this, MK is still officially a town (even though it has swallowed up three towns (that were quite important by themselves in their day) and several villages. This is because the town has not received a Royal Charter for it to become a city.

Good points (personal opinion): Interesting pre-MK history due to proximity of old trade routes and nearby Chiltern hills. Landscaped linear parks and lakes. Pleasant commuter cycling. Brilliant flat water kayaking: Willen and Caldecotte Lakes, Grand Union Canal's longest stretch without locks. About 12 miles - all the way through the town from Fenny Stratford to Cosgrove.

Bad points: lousy PT - a car is almost essential to travel any distance, especially after 1800hrs. Quicker to cycle (or walk) than get a bus on most (some) routes in MK. A lot of space between local amenities, residential and employment areas - again the car is the only viable mode of transport.

I live in a small town in western Michigan. There are few jobs and in the past 20 years it has started evolving into a retirement community, The nearest city is 100 miles away. There is relatively little crime. The biggest industry is tourism and the population explodes in the summer. My town is on Lake Michigan and it has the most beatiful beaches and a wonderful State Park just a few miles away. Those two things are the draw for out-of-towners. I liked it better before we were "discovered".

In live in a converted chapel in a small English village. The local population is around 800.

Surrounded by fields, farms, other picturesque villages, it is merely 20 minutes drive to the nearest large town. It is also that distance from the sea.

Next door is the village church, with its delightful bells every Sunday calling the faithful to prayer.

I rejoice in being the newest person to arrive in the village and was immediately made welcome.

This is where I would like to live until I draw my last breath.
This is the place I delight in calling 'HOME'.

That sounds like my house except for the train station. We live in a rural area of Tennessee. Yesterday, a flock of geese stopped by on their way south. Deer are seen almost every day. Ducks live on the pond. We have seen wild pigs come across the lawn and for a while there was a peacock who would come over for a visit.

A small yet properly saved homestead in south area of my city, alongside the main significant highway that runs by way of it. on the edge of outlets and gasoline stations and bus stops and those forms of issues. With enormous homestead windows and prefer dark brown carpet, the kitchen painted yellow with blue floral wallpaper border and black and white checkered tiling. My room could have beige partitions with dark pink wallpaper border and dark brown carpet, with enormous, heavy pink curtains on the window. And the exterior could have a sprint koi pond in it, and consistent with hazard a small in floor pool or spa if there grew to become into room. And the bathing room could haven't any wall homestead windows, in basic terms a ceiling one (greater privateness for my area lol) the exterior could have like this previous, delicate redish tiling on the force way and an incredible eco-friendly backyard with a willow tree in it, and positively one of those swing benches on the porch, and the porch could have white railing alongside area of it. i don't think of i will ever have adequate funds that nevertheless haha... i will probably finally end up in some low earnings housing equipment.

Chester, Virginia.
Very suburban area, not very many stores or highways. We get year round seasons, particularly a gorgeous fall. Unfortunatly, the people keep to themselves most of the time and it's hard to make friends.
