i have not had a period in 5 months...went to doctor everything is normal ..but me and my husband are trying to get pregant...what next??

I only have a period about every 4 to 5 month, and it is very short and light. I've been that way my whole life. I mistakenly assumed I could not get pregnant because ignorant people told me I wasn't ovulating. I went to the doctor too, and nothing was wrong. If you recently got off the pill, or another type of b control, your body is probably just adjusting. I have a 6 year old! Because I am so irregular, I didn't know I was pregnant for almost 3 months!

If your not having a period then most likely your not ovulating and you have to ovulate to get pregnant a gynecologist will most likely give you some options

if you did not had periods for last five months and you are not pregnant, it is not normal. you may have iron deficiency.(anemia)

Get a new OB/GYN doctor....that is not normal!
This tells you your system is not working normally!

Go to a gynecologist they would be able to tell you what to do.

Maybe you just can't have kids. But I would see an OBGYN.
