When observed, I mean. Or do you pay it no mind?

Not really. Someone's life may seem mundane to me, but be perfectly acceptable to them. But I know what you mean.

I don't think about saddening things as much as I used to. I just can't feel so sad about how mundane other people's lives are without either helping them or minding my own business and keeping my life as meaningful as possible. Yes, my life is meaningful, regardless of how pointless I seem on here.

I am not saddened by the possibility that this life is mundane because I know that it isn't. Our purpose in life is to serve God and to have (healthy) relationships with people. A summary of the Ten Commandments says to love the Lord your God with all your heart and strength, and then love your neighbor (other people) as you love yourself.

I have a friend, who does two things in life.
Work, and watch TV. While she watches TV,
she is taping something else to watch on TV.
She'll call me, and tell me to come over, because
she taped something for me to watch. She tapes
daytime soaps every single day, and at least two
different shows every single night. I'll ask her
to go out to a show, or shopping, or whatever,
but she never wants to go anywhere. Yes, it's sad.

It does only when speaking of myself, because it is my life at times. When I discover it in others, I relate all too well and am made happier by finding a kindred spirit.

Why would you make such a judgement? What do you know about their way of life. Judge not that you not be judged by the same standards.
