If you put a ten penny nail down the center of the carrot before squeezing, the squeezing time is reduced by one half. So I'm assuming that you didn't know this trick. To up the yield of juice per carrot, try soaking your carrots in turpentine for one hour. Good luck.

You shouldn't have carrot juice anyway. Too much vitamin "A", which means your liver can't process it and toxicity can develop
