I don't live in the US, but planning to go there for college. I'll be taking SATs very soon...just want to have an idea of what scores I need to get to realise my dreams. Any info would help. Thanx

Now that they've established the new SAT, 1600 is well below the perfect score. I took the SAT a couple of weeks ago and made a 1640, which is only a little above average.

I looked online, and the site won't list the usual combined score for students, but usually it's around 700 for reading and math individually.

So around 1400 if you aren't counting your essay and writing skills points

A perfect score is 1600, I believe that somewhere around 1550 would be just enough to get you in.
