Average high 57, average low 32, could be warmer, could be very cold at night..Some hotel/casinos have heated pools/hot tub..It's pretty much the same in the casinos, it doesn't matter if it's January or July...

The temperatures move up slowly during the month, from a typical low of 35 and high of 57 in the beginning of the month to 40/60 or so by the end of the month. January can also be cloudy and wet, by Vegas Standards. There have even been some major snowstorms in Vegas in January, three times in the past 75 years there have been 10 inches or more of snow in January, although nothing more than trace has occured in the past 20 or so. January weather in Vegas really depends on the clouds and rain, if the days are clear, and that is still the norm, the days are pretty nice.
