Check the Vista requirements to see if it'll be good enough. If it's not good enough for vista, it's not going to be enough for Halo 2.

Bungie has said that they're trying to aim the requirements at the low end of Vista compatibility. They are definately using DirectX 9.
However, until they specify, there's no assurance that any card will do the job.
