Will Halo 2 for PC run on a new Directx 9 video card? Of course I'm assuming that the video card is fast.

Check the Vista requirements to see if it'll be good enough. If it's not good enough for vista, it's not going to be enough for Halo 2.

Bungie has said that they're trying to aim the requirements at the low end of Vista compatibility. They are definately using DirectX 9.
However, until they specify, there's no assurance that any card will do the job.

subsequently far DirectX 10 video enjoying cards basically help DirectX 10; they do no longer require it. i've got have been given a DirectX 10-waiting video card even nonetheless i'm working XP (limited to DX9). it somewhat works only high-quality.
