Please help, the textbook is really confusing and my teacher's on drugs or something and my midterm is 50% of my grade

1st one you are right because 2/3 < 4/5 so to the left
2nd one you are wrong becuase it can be both. if x is positive -x is negative and if x is -ve -x is positive

3rd one you are right

1)Its to the left, but it determines if its going highest-lowest or lowest-highest

and 2/3 is usually lower than 4/5

2)if theres a number that has -in front of it, its always negative

so youre correct on both
