I am shopping for Christmas presents (early) and my kids are extremely good with the computer. Last year they found out what I was getting them by looking at the history. How do I get rid of the websites I visited?

First of all you would want to get a new browser called Mozilla Firefox 2. After which you search for mozilla add ons Get all the following add ons: Ad block filter g, Ad block plus, Forecase fox, and the one that will take care of your history problem: DISTRUST turn it on while you browse and it should delete all traces of history. but just to be safe go to tools and select clear private data or hold down ctrl shift and delete buttons to do the same thing.

Under TOOLS click on Internet Options-you will see a box with Browsing History. Click delete!

Try some of these:

1) Go to the history folder, delete all that you want to delete.

2) Format the disk

3) Get another PC

4) Do your shopping from a cyber cafe

5) Open as many pages as you can, so the history files will be overloaded

good luck

Use Firefox. You can set that up to clear everything automatically whenever you exit. It's much simpler and more secure than IE.
