Is there going to be a High School Musical 2? I heard there might be one coming out next summer.

The movie is tentatively titled "High School Musical 2: Sing it All or Nothing!" It is rumored to be released early summer 2007, however as of October 2006, the film's release date and running time have not been confirmed.
The film's producer, Bill Borden, has said that High School Musical was originally planned as a three-part telefilm.

yeah is gonna be part of Disney Channel's So Hot Summer 2007. I heard that the headline was something like "It is summer but the show must go on"!! hope i helped
