Don't buy it at all. Game consoles suck: their games aren't that good, they are ridiculously over-priced, and they are obsolete almost immediately. Upgrade your PC, and get some good PC games instead. It is cheaper (and more fun).

by time the prices really drop there will be a new game system coming out that is the "new thing". it always happens that way. but it wouldnt hurt to wait till they go down some.

If you got the money, go for it. It will probably be about 3 years before the price goes down.

I think you should wait because you could go to costco to buy a pack with ps3 and 1 game and 2 contolers lol.

well it depends on how bad you want it! its really expensive though. i wouldnt get one now because i have plenty of other games to play - i love my DS!!!
