Sometimes I like to wear classic golden hoop/bangle bracelets. I think they have a cute ethnic look, you know like some Caribbean and Latin girls wear. But it seems like whenever I wear these I get "looks" from men. Which is weird because they're just bracelets, you know? I always thought they just looked pretty, but if there's some negative connotation with bracelets that I don't know about, I don't want to be giving anyone the wrong idea.

What? Bracelets are bracelets. Whoever associated bracelets with prostiution is crazy! I think hoop/bangle bracelets are classic. However if you tend to dress a bit more skimpy, and wear 5 inch heels WITH the bracelets thennnnn maybe someone would think your a hooker. Otherwise, bracelets are adorable and shouldn't be associated w/ prostitution

I don't think bracelets make any body look like a prostitue. The bangles you wear sound very nice, and im sure they make you look beautiful. If anything, they are staring at you because it makes you look sophisticated!
