I think I may have a hernia, is it possible for this to heal on it's own. I thought it was an ovarian cyst because of how intense the pain was, and I don't have insurance so I was hesitant to do anything about it. I went to the ER and they ruled out anything critical and the ultrasound showed my ovaries were in good shape. They said the area that I said the pain was in is in my intestines. So either a hernia or endemetiosis (sp?). I'm just wondering if anyones had either of these.

hmmmm if your pain is still intense and they found nothing wrong in the initial exam i wonder why they sent you home? endometriosis is a disorder where cysts form on your ovaries causing bad cramps and other complications. hernias won't heal on their own. i think they can only get worse. good luck

It is probalby intestinal pain. There are some teas in the chinese section of your grocery store "slimming teas" drink a cup or two when you have a day to commit to the bathroom because it will flush you out and possibly your pain will go away. Endemetriosis is more painful during you period and during sex. Cyst are not usually painful at all and I am not sure about a hernia??
