I had a guy from the geeksquad come and set up my router.
Authentication WPA - PSK
Encyrption TKIP
network key with password
Is it safe ? could it be safer?

it could be safer. but it will never be safe. i would not use wifi to do sensitive things

That's a lot more secure than WEP. It would be a waste doing any more, since nothing you do will secure the connection once it leaves the house. Just make sure you change the password to something the Geek guy didn't put in.

no internet connection is ever secure. Even if it isnt wireless. Hackers will always find a way to get in.
