If so, do you find it cheesy or beautiful? I think Joel is cheesy, for the most part, but this, I believe, is a great, heartbreaking tune. The best he ever wrote.

It's one of his best, actually. The other song of his I really like is the lullaby he wrote when his daughter was small, "Goodnight, My Angel." There are some songs in his catalog that are either kind of peculiar or just plain, like you said, cheesy, but if you are selective, you can find some truly good stuff. It's not the popular songs that have been his best, IMHO.

I agree,100%.Generally,i listen to all forms and genres of music.I do enjoy some of Billy Joels music.However,i dont listen to alot of it.I heard that song,and i loved it.Have a good night sweetie.
