How do you make a six pointed star from folding and using only straight cut?

I can tell you how to get the six points on the circle then you should be able to do the folding and cutting you need.

Draw a circle with a compass and with the radius you just used, mark that length with your compass on the circle and you will get the 6 equal sections.
