You need whatever the code in the USA is for an international call (here in the UK it's 00) then the international code for the UK (44), followed by area code for the part of the UK you are trying to call (e.g. London would be 20) and then the persons' number.
So, for example, if you were trying to call the House of Commons (this is the most anonymous example I can think of here!) you would dial your international dialling code followed by 44 20 7219 5000.

think its +44 then instead of putting the code i.e (birmingham) 0121 you get rid of the 0 e.g +44 121 then the number u want. hope that helps.
