ok i need help with a consecutive interger problem i dont want the answer i just need help on how to answer it. here it is:

The lesser of two consecutive even intergers is 10 more than one-half the greater. Find the intergers.

Consecutive even integers would be represented by x and x+2. So the equation for your problem is x = 10 + .5(x+2) and you solve that equation.
