You are tricking your body into thinking it is pregnant. You body is just ajusting. Be sure to remember you have to be on them at least 30 days for it to keep you from getting pregnant. And antibiotics make the pill not work. Be safe. Did you use other protection when you had sex? 19-8 = 11 Close to ovulation time (12-14 days)

It's very normal to have tender breasts and dull ovary cramps when on the pill due to hormonal changes. It's normal to have tender breasts and ovaries during ovulation as well. You didn't wait very long for the pill to really get into your system for the best effectiveness. I've always been told and heard that you need to allow the full month of pills to get into your system to prevent pregnancy. I hope you used additional protection.

Going on the pill can mess up your cycle, and the hormones can cause side effects. I hope you used other protection like a condom when you had sex 8 days ago, because the pill isn't completely effective until you've been taking it for more than a month.

There is probably nothing wrong. Breast tenderness and cramping can be side effects of the pill. You could also be due for your period, especially if you are getting close to the end of your pack/placebo week.

alongs if you still use protection like condoms when you are having sex then it sounds pretty normal to me.it takes awhile to adjust to birthcontrol.
