1. pearls are made because of an irritation to the oyster inside the shell. the irritation is then covered by the oyster w/ calcium carbonate & after many years it is now a pearl. a diamond is made from carbon from decaying plants & animals buried in the ground for millions of years then subjected to immense pressure of the earth to form a rock-hard diamond.
2. you mean sea water? sea water is too salty w/ at least 3.5% salinity making it undrinkable for humans.
3. the fish dont 'see' using their eyes. they use a variety of organs to find their way in the water. when you look at a fish, they have a line running through the middle of the body up to the tail. it is a sensory organ used by the fish to ' see'. others have acute sense of smell or taste like the sharks. others have a rostral organ in their snout w/c acts like an electrical field receptor.
4. maybe women because the current world record holder in the free diving catergory is a woman named streeter who can hold her breath for 6 min while diving to 525 feet.

What do you mean "we can't drink water"? I drink water every day!
A pearl is a hard, rounded object produced by certain animals, primarily mollusks such as oysters.
Diamond is the hardest known natural material and one of the two best known forms (or allotropes) of carbon, whose hardness and high dispersion of light make it useful for industrial applications and jewelry. And they come from diamon mines.
Gold is a highly sought-after precious metal that for many centuries has been used as money, a store of value and in jewelry. The metal occurs as nuggets or grains in rocks and in alluvial deposits and is one of the coinage metals. It is a soft, shiny, yellow, dense, malleable, and ductile (trivalent and univalent) transition metal.
Fishes have very powerful eye sight and also some of the use sonar to find their way in the dark.
The amount of time that one can hold their breath depends on their lung size and their practice.

Looks like your a future scientist!
Pearls from oysters...Diamonds mostly from coal deposits...gold is also mined from the ground.
Fish that live where there is no light...often use electrmagnetic waves to find out where there are obstacles around them. These waves bounce off an object and return to them...enabling the fish to get an idea of what is around them.
We cant drink salt water...cause it causes us to lose more water...look up osmosis on wikipedia.
Good Questions!

wow. you have many questions, young grasshopper
1. pearls are formed from a tiny grain of sand in an oyster.
2. diamonds form from coal that was compressed and heated (lots of it, too)
3. as for the eating fish and shrimp...i dont, ha!
4. fish's eyes are adapted to be very good to see throught the water. kinda like a cat's eyes.
5. i personally think that a whale could hold it longer

>>A pearl is a hard, rounded object produced by certain animals, primarily mollusks such as oysters.
>>Diamonds are generally mined from volcanic pipes, which are deep in the Earth where the high pressure and temperature enables the formation of the crystals.
>>Gold is a metal which occurs as nuggets or grains in rocks and in alluvial deposits (soil or sediments deposited by a river or other running water.)
>>If you are refering to a seawater: its high dissolved mineral content is the reason why it should not be drunk .Seawater can be turned into drinkable (potable) water by one of a number of desalination processes, or by diluting it with fresh water to reduce the salinity.

>>Your question is related to the term salled dynamic apnea. Who could hold breath longer underwater seems to be independent of the gender. Training and many other factors got the main roles in such performance. Have a look at the records of apnea (holding breath under water)divers:

Pearls come from oysters, diamonds are mined, as is gold. Seafood does not contain salt water. Fish also use smell to navigate. I'm not sure that sex is relevant in this instance.

Pearls come from irritated oysters. (Place grain of sand inside oyster shell, wait for oyster to make pearl around it. Caution: this does not happen right away.) Natural pearls happen spontaneously; cultured pearls happen when a grain of sand is placed deliberately inside an oyster shell.
