I tend to unintentionally offend many people because I don't know the correct terms. I think people should try harder to be honest with each other. People do try too hard to be politically correct.

What is correct? There is no right or wrong, just personal opinions that an individual either agrees or disagrees with.
Actually I think people will use lots of ways to try to conform for the purposes of being liked or admired by others. If they appear to dislike the ones they are trying to impress then it is often a sign that they are jealous

Yes there's too much of it about and it seems to be holding society back,it's almost a gag on free speech and a little constructive criticism never hurt anyone,if we didn't have to tiptoe around each other for the fear of offending then we all might get along a little better.

yeah i do, it seems you cant say anything anymore without offending someone. its rediculous. I was walking down hennepin ave. in Minneapolis a couple weeks ago and talking about a tv program and said, "there was this black guy..." i got some dirty looks from a couple of black people walking by, as if i said something wrong. I think political correctness should be left to politicians.

Yes, and as for my family, we don't exactly care about being 'politically correct' because we don't think you should really lie about how you feel. And when we say something, no one is ever hurt, because we are a little bit of everything, so when we say something, they know we aren't saying it to be mean, because why would we? You don't have to be politically correct to not hurt anyones feelings, you just have to be careful of how you say the things you say, if you know someone is very sensitive, you might want to say it lighter than you would to someone who doesn't care.

Hmmm....
I don't know.
I do think that sometimes people go a little bit overboard on the PCing.
Personally, I just like people and if I'm in a situation where I'm afraid I may hurt someones feelings I do my best to choose my words carefully.

Not in the realist's world. The publishers are certainly under
pressures that have grown to overburdening. People making
sharing of wealth the target of economics may be missing
the positive options to enact duties or work that should be done.
