think its cool to dress up like neo- drag queens, call themselves emo/punk/rock/alternative and make half-baked lyrics. Jeez, I was just watching MTV and this question popped into my head: where does this come from? when did it get so messed up? Kurt was trend setting, this stuff is just nutz.

and yes there will always be black people with gold in their mouths, regga-ton ( or whatever the heck those people call it), and virtually no asians in English speaking music?

when the heck did it ever get so bad.....?

none of you is really getting my point.
This isnt so much about race as it is about the music behind whats going on. Since when did being in a band mean all white, neo-drag and yelling. I am questioning were the diversity has and and also the music. IF you notice, I am picking fun at everyone, not just whites.

Actually, I respect white teenagers for not being afraid to break the mold and learn to think for themselves. I wish more black teenagers would do this. We don't have to listen to hiphop and R&B all the darned time. I feel the day a friend in grade school turned me on to Led Zeppelin was the day I became truly liberated. But I lost my "virginity" when a white girl friend introduced me to Vivaldi's Four Seasons.

I guess what I'm really saying is: Diversity kicks major ****!

Cultures are something we must tolerate. The good news is
that music, attempts at music, drums, chants, anthems have
been around long enough to gain acceptance as entertaining.
Volume knobs will help us understand. Meditation and dance
are two different products of music. Trance and fashion are
good for exercising our own designing skills.

Hey, it is not only the whites that do that. Looking at the gay parade there were all races in that parade. Guess the notion just came to you out of the blue in regards to white people, but it is not just whites. Whites have gold in their teeth too. Just in the last 50 years, it has become this nutz. Good thought , tho.

good/bad. it is all relative. it gets harder and harder to be creative and do something shocking to the baby boomers who did it all.
doing drugs and having sex is no longer enough to do it.
