A lot of gay guys are extremely popular with the ladies, especially the hot ones, why!? And when I say gay, I'm talking about a very specific kind of gay, the kind that's very feminine.... you know, obviously gay. And I know some would say "oh he's not necessarily gay, he's might just be feminine!" In any case, chicks seem to luuuuuv these kinds of guys.
I've been wondering, why doesn't this work the other way around? I don't see guys jumping over tables to hang around with manly lesbians who act like men. I know most guys wouldn't mind hanging out with hot bi-sexual chicks but they don't count.
By the way I've got nothing against gay ppl, I'm just curious!

Cuz their cute, friendly in a friend type way, fun to hang with, share common views on guys and I just love to watch 'em. I think sometimes they are more feminine than the girls. And most of them are so sweet and understanding.

I'm gay and have several amazing Lesbian friends if that makes you feel any better! I think people feel that way because you see less lesbians than gay men. In guy world, you're "gender role" so to speak and masculinity are from one extreme to the other, and so I think that's why it's so much easier for guys to get a clue that they're gay. For girls, it's more fluid. You can see that when a girl tells another girl she looks goregous, it's no big thing, just a compliment. Change that into guys and it's a whole 'nother story. But I love my lesbian friends.

Women feel safer with gay men since they know they won't hit on them or do anything a straight guy would do; assuming he has any class! Straight guys just want to be with that women and he will pretend or manipulate just to be friendly with them; some guys are more real and would hangout. Gay guys are always true, unless his make instincts act up and playfully toys around with you as most straight guys would.

Cuz gay men can relate to women more than straight men, because both of them are attracted to men, even a women wants a gay boyfriend so her boyfriend could also be her girl best friend, which is impossible since no gay man want to sleep with a woman unless he is paid to do so (straight for pay)

Gay guys seem to understand girls and are sensitive and less immature than a lot (but not all) straight guys.
But I'm strange, the idea of two guys kissing makes me feel all warm n fuzzy inside! I just think its so genuine and attractive. And so equal. With girl/guy couples theres always that role thing going, and I always think the guy could easily end up being a 'traditional' male (i.e. NOT good!) but with gay guys theyre so equal and lovey! They show their emotions and thats attractive in a man (though, I dont want floods of tears or anything!)

Gay guys can relate to us and we can actually be friends without the worry of him hitting on us. We can talk about guys and share similar interests in some cases. Seriously, I just love gay guys and wish I knew more of them :)

Well the majority og women like gay men simply because gay are easy to approach and easy to talk to you. Alot of women like to hear what a man things or need a man opinion but some many str8 guys feel it almost emasculating to beasked some question and feel even worse to have to answer them. They don't seem to be very open about their emotions unless it's something that interests them.
To Heather M, it sounds like you are just a flat out gay man hater who would only associate herself with one if you needed one for something lfrom them ike planning a party. What you said sounds like pretty bias and for you claim all the other women who have gay friends to be silly and frivolous....that is silly. Maybe you should go out and get a gay friend and see what it's really like instead of assuming gay men are treated like pets and owned by silly immature girls. You are probably just going of off what others told you or are just what you precieved from a distance.
Same with men. We enjoy the company of a lesbain the same way women enjoy gays. We have them as friends, people who can identify themselves the same way we do regardless of status. We don't treat them like objects and we don't feel uncomfortable being around them in public. That would defeat the purpose of having them as friends. Men of ages 40+ married or not havethem as friends the smae reason as 20+ does.....for company and possiblities (figure it out). Oh yeah....and most str8 guys have BISEXUAL female friends versus lesbians but it still doens't matter.
