You can find Truth in anything.
I don't think it's any more reliable than anything else.

I absolutely believe there is. There will probably be lots of people who will tell you there isn't, but I doubt they've looked into it very much. Everyone that I have done an in-depth reading for believes. However, obviously, it all depends on what you think.
But, the book Memoirs of a Geisha sums up exactly what I think:
"We human beings are only a part of something very much larger. When we walk along, we may crush a beetle or simply cause a change in the air so that a fly ends up where it might never have gone otherwise. And if we think of the same example but with ourselves in the role of the insect, and the larger universe in the role we've just played, it's perfectly clear that we're affected every day by forces over which we have no more control than the poor beetle has over our gigantic foot as it descends upon it. What are we to do? We must use whatever methods we can to understand the movement of the universe around us and time our actions so that we are not fighting the currents, but moving with them."

I can't think of any better way to say it. I don't know exactly how, but my faith has been tested and I definitely believe that the planets play a huge role in our lives and the trends of the world...

Jake S, you are a perfect example of what I mean by people who have not looked into it. The horoscopes you read in the newspaper are without a doubt vague, but then again, I have doubts as to whether those are even written by astrologers... If you were to make a birth chart and interpret your personality and tendencies depending on the positions of all the planets, you would find very definite trends, not at all vague.

The tides are caused by something called gravity that causes unbinded water and is totally predictable. The sun also has a gravitational pull but is not as strong due to the moon being much closer. Water in our body is binded in our cells so we do not feel tidal forces. Also if your pick up a book of the table you are putting more stress on the earth than Mars does.
The only astrological body you can feel is the heat of the sun.

I believe that there is truth in astrology. I also believe that people look at it in the completely wrong way. They think that the newspaper horoscope is astrology, and they're wrong. I see astrology as a road map. It shows you potentially where you could go, but that's just it: potential. It could potentially be true. It's your own free will that decides if it is really so.

Through my own astrology discovery, I've come to find that astrology is very true in some aspects for me, but in others it isn't. I think it depends on the person.

Definitely not.
Astrology started a long time back when people actually looked up at the constellations and believed that the stars ruled their lives but it is completely useless today.

I mean, today even the constellations have completely changed positions and rise a few months different than they did back in the early days. So what sign you think you were born under is totally wrong…

it is for entertainment only and boring entertainment in my opinion.

There is no truth, this is my opinion.. but..

"You shouldn't dismiss as incredible the possibility that a long enough search might reveal a golden grain of truth in astrological superstition." -- Johannes Kepler

did you know the moon effects the tide in the ocean and the animals in the ocean? did you know the planets and the moon and the sun affects animals on the land and the plants and nature. so why wouldn't the planets effect all of that and not us as well. its scientific proof that things happen with changes of the planets etc. people have been studying it and observing it since the stone ages.

its as true as you are willing to make it. astrology and horoscopes are generally vague and unspecific so people are able to relate them to their own personal experiences.
