how to turn off the smart phone function on a Palm 7100p???

I figured out how to turn off the phone part of the palm, but cant figure out how to turn it off completely, including the smartphone function.... please help... its driving us insane.

I don't think you can completely disable it. If you don't need the phone, then you purchased the wrong Palm Product. For about $99 you could have bought the Palm Z22 a good basic PDA, for $200, you could have bought a Palm Tungsten E2 (my 2nd favorite after Treo 700p), more powerful than the z22 but without any built in communications capabilities at all, or for $300 the Tungsten Tx which has internet and other communications capabilities but still without a phone.

If you just got it, take it back to the dealer, maybe they will take it back.
