Thanksgiving in Canada was October 9th in Canada. Because it is colder up here our first frost and harvest come earlier. We do the dinner thing but instead go shopping for Hallowe'en outfits instead of Christmas shopping like you guys down in the States.

I went to my grandmother's house, but it was different this year because she passed away this summer. It was still good to be with the whole family though. Lots of good food.

(Small note: To the first answerer, I am Canadian, and yes, we do celebrate Thanksgiving)
