A college, on the other hand, is usually a stand-alone College of Arts and Sciences.
In addition, most universities have graduate programs (Master's or PhD programs), and most colleges do not. However, there are some exceptions. For example, Vassar College offers Master's degrees in a certain few departments.

it all depends on what course you want. they dont really have a 4 years university limit and a 2 year collage limit. my mother went to college and was thare for a 3 years. When you want to be a teacher I belive you go for about 6 year in university. And a doctor maybe 8 in univerity!...
