I was talking with a friend the other day and somehow the word "tramp" came up. We was talking about why women are called "tramps" if a tramp is a male dog and why in the dictionary a tramp now means a women with loose morals or prostitue. Why is this so?

When a person resorts to name calling of any kind it usually is an insecure gesture to put you in your place meaning they know you are stronger, better and attempting to pull you to their level, which somehow is way lower than yours
