If they play hard they could contend for a low seed in the playoffs but they are strictly a first round team. But they have a bright future nonetheless.

The Raptors are not in any kind of position to even think about getting anywhere this year. They peaked a few years ago when Vince missed his fall away 3 against the Sixers, and now they have to continue rebuilding in order to peak again.
They used the #1 pick on a long-term project player, instead of an immediate impact guy with less potential. It's a smart decision in the long-run, but doesn't do much to help them win this year. If Raptor fans can sit through a few more 20-30 win seasons.....the team just might be able to get somewhere pretty shortly. IMO.

They'll be one of the better teams to miss the playoffs this year. They finally got a legitimate point guard in Ford, even though he makes you hold your breath every time he falls down; Bosh is coming along nicely; Bargnani will only develop.

They're looking alot better, Bosh is really coming into his own. They wont make the playoffs though, maybe in the next 1-2 years.
